Obituary of Victor Eugene Robins

Peacefully with his family by his side at the Grey Bruce Health Services in Wiarton, Monday afternoon January 4, 2010. Gene Robins of Sauble Beach in his 89th year. Loving husband and best friend of the former Doreen Cox for over 67 years. Loved father of Norma and her husband Frank Fedy of Balmy Beach, Doug Robins and his wife Kathy of Sauble Beach and Penny and her husband Fred Gildner of Oliphant. Lovingly remembered by his 5 grandchildren; Tracey and her husband Jeff Williton, Chassidy and her husband Mark O'Leary, Krystal and her husband Brad Walser and Brittany and Brennen Gildner and his 4 great-grandchildren; Chloe, Connor, Kianna and Laila.. Dear brother of Fred Robins, Marjorie and her husband Joe Fazekas all of Welland and Elgin Robins and his wife Mary Lynne of Sauble Beach. Predeceased by 4 brothers, 3 sisters and two great-grandchildren, Tanner and Logan. Friends may call at the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME Hepworth Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service will be conducted from the Zion Amabel United Church, Sauble Beach Friday morning at 10:30 am with Rev. Gerry Hofstetter officiating. Spring interment Zion Cemetery. Memorial contributions to Wiarton Hospital or Vision 2002 (Sauble Area Medical Clinic) would be appreciated as your expression of sympathy.
