Obituary of Orma Jean Lorraine Gard

At Georgian Heights Nursing Home in Owen Sound with her husband by her side Wednesday afternoon January 13, 2010. The former Orma Cook of Owen Sound in her 75th year. Beloved wife of Sterling Gard. Loving mother of Cheryl and her husband Michael Bauslaugh of Simcoe, Brian and his wife Kelly of Newmarket and Jeffrey and his wife Lisa of Couquitlam, B.C. Lovingly remembered by her 7 grandchildren; Jessica Shepherd and her husband Chad, Rachel and Claire Bauslaugh, Wesley, Andrew, Benjamin and Teagan Gard. Dear sister of Joan Walter and Elaine and her husband Ross Morrow all of Owen Sound. Dear sister-in-law of Margaret Cook of Oshawa, Harold Gard and his wife Grace, and Eleanor Gard all of Owen Sound and Gayle Gard of Ottawa. Predeceased by one brother; Howard Cook. Friends may call at the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME Hepworth Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service will be conducted from Knox United Church, Owen Sound Monday morning at 11:00 am with Rev. Ralph Schmidt officiating. Spring interment Zion Cemetery.
