Peacefully with her family by her side at the Grey Bruce Health Services in Wiarton Wednesday afternoon June 30, 2010. The former Dee McLay of Hepworth formerly of Stokes Bay in her 75th year. Beloved wife of the late Ted Knowles. Loved mother of Chris and his wife Janett of Stratford. Lovingly remembered by her 4 grandchildren; Krista, Robert, Wesley and Candace and her husband Ed Foerter and 3 great-grandchildren; Natasha, Joshua and Jacob. Dear sister of John McLay and his wife Ivy of North Bay, Allan McLay and his wife Joyce of Mississauga, Mary Lemmond of Port Huron, Danny McLay and his wife Linda of Ferndale and Dianne and her husband Walt Hyatt of Sarnia. Dear sister-in-law of Charon McLay of Stokes Bay. Predeceased by her son Wayne and one brother Bud McLay. Friends may call at the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME Hepworth Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service will be conducted from the Funeral Home Monday morning at 11:00 am with Rev. Gerry Hofstetter officiating. Interment Zion Cemetery.
