Obituary of Elgin Burton Robins

At the Grey Bruce Health Services in Wiarton with his family by his side Sunday morning August 15, 2010. Elgin Robins of Sauble Beach in his 77th year. Loving husband of the former Mary Lynne Coleman. Loved father of Teresa and her husband Wayne Houle of Stratford, Dale and his wife Gayle of Bayfield, Tony and his partner Susan of Southampton, David of Elliott Lake, Susan MacDonald of Vancouver, Darrin and his wife April of Elliott Lake, Jeff and his wife Kim of Balmy Beach and Todd and his wife Rene of Allenford. Lovingly remembered by 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Fred Robins and Marjorie and her husband Joe Fazekas all of Welland. Dear brother-in-law of Doreen Robins of Sauble Beach, Jim Coleman and his wife Denise of Forest and Carol Coleman of Shallow Lake. Predeceased by 5 brothers, 3 sisters, 2 grandchildren; Brylea and Matthew and his sister-in-law Karen Coleman. Elgin was a Cub & Scout leader for many years and was a District Commissioner for North Bruce. Friends may call at the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, Hepworth Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service will be conducted from the Funeral Home Friday morning at 11:00 am with Rev. Gerry Hofstetter officiating. Interment Zion Cemetery.
