Obituary of Howard Featherston

Suddenly at his residence Wednesday morning January 18, 2006. Howard Featherston of R.R.#5, Owen Sound. Beloved husband of the former Sheila Greig. Dear brother of Elgin and his wife Lynn of Guelph. Dear brother-in-law of Marie and her husband Robert Gilchrist of R.R.#3, Owen Sound and Ken Carnie of Owen Sound. Lovingly remembered by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his son Ron and one sister Leta Menary-Carnie. Friends may call at the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME Hepworth Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service will be conducted from the Shallow Lake United Church Saturday morning at 11:00 am with Rev. Leslie Searles officiating. Spring interment Boyd Cemetery, Shallow Lake. Memorial contributions to the Shallow Lake United Church or the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated as your expression of sympathy. Royal Canadian Legion Branch 282 Shallow Lake will hold a memorial service at the Funeral Home Friday evening at 7:00 pm.
