Obituary of Bev Smith

SMITH, John Beverley left his home on earth and entered into the arms of his Lord peacefully at his residence with family by his side Friday evening February 13, 2015. Bev Smith of Hepworth in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Joan (nee Durnin) and the late Ruth (nee Brown) (2002). Cherished father of Paula Classey and her husband John of Strathaven, Gordon Smith of Hepworth, Curtiss Smith and Shirley of Owen Sound, Karen Smith of Hepworth, Valerie Rausch and her husband Tom of Colorado, Stephen Kitching and his wife Helene of Oliphant, Patty McNamara and her husband Sean of Simcoe, Chris Kitching and his wife Cathy of Alberta, Mark Kitching and his wife April of Texas, Doug Kitching and his wife Karen of Alberta and Pam Davey and her husband Phil of Kitchener. Lovingly remembered by grandchildren Christopher, Jolene, Joshua, Angelica, Luke, Kyra, Ryan, Katie, Connor, Carson, Jacob, Jordan, Sophie, Keagan, Shae-Lynn, Kailee and Caleb and great grandchildren Lyla and Sawyer. Predeceased by sisters Choral Miller and Grace Beacock. Friends may call at the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, Hepworth Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted from the Hepworth Baptist Church Thursday morning at 11:00 a.m. Spring interment Zion Cemetery.
