Peacefully with family by his side at Kelso Villa Retirement Home in Owen Sound Friday evening July 22, 2011. Rev. Richard Anions of Owen Sound, an Anglican Priest for over 55 years, in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of Winifred (nee Shute). Loving father of Dianne Ford and her husband Stu Schostak of London, Doug and his wife Marilyn of Ottawa, Larry and his wife Jo-Ann of Owen Sound, Doreen and her husband Peter von Dungern of Wiarton and Pauline Phillips and her husband Ken of Crossfield, Alberta. Lovingly remembered by his 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by 2 sisters; Barbara Plumb and Peggy Loftus and one adopted brother Jack. Friends may call at the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME Hepworth Tuesday evening from 6 to 9 pm. Funeral Service will be conducted from St. Thomas Anglican Church, Owen Sound Wednesday morning at 11:00 am with Rev. Robert Snelling officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery, Ridgetown following cremation. Memorial contributions to St. Thomas Anglican Church would be appreciated as your expression of sympathy.
