HEYNS, William Arie peacefully at his home surrounded by family Thursday evening April 10, 2014. William 'Bill' Heyns of Shallow Lake in his 88th year. Beloved husband of Jacoba 'Coby' (nee Zevenbergen). Loved father of Shirley and her husband Phil Visser, Fred and his wife Helen and Rob and his wife Brenda, all of Owen Sound, Linda and her husband Bruce DeBoer, Glenda and her husband Calvin Kapteyn and Brenda and her husband Wayne Hummel all of Shallow Lake. Loving grandfather of 20 and great grandfather of 2. Dear brother of Annie VanDijk (late Henk), Dikkie and her husband Kees Klaver and Betty and her husband John Pijl. Forever remembered by many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother Harry Heyns and sister Agnes Van Renselaar. Friends may call at the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, Hepworth on Monday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted from the FIRST CHRISTIAN REFORMED CHURCH, 201 4th Avenue West, Owen Sound Tuesday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. with visitation 1 hour prior. Pastor Harry Zantingh officiating. Spring interment Zion Cemetery.
