Obituary of Carole Sutter
Peacefully at the Kelso Pines Retirement Home in Owen Sound Saturday August 25, 2012. Carole Sutter (nee Sinclair) of Wiarton in her 80th year. Beloved wife of the late D.L. Sutter. Loved mother of Katherine Kingsbury and husband Ron of Owen Sound, Paul and wife Koona of Wiarton and Donna Sutter and partner Chris Hammond of Kitchener. Lovingly remembered by grandchildren; Stephen (Rascida), Daniel (Laura) and Kevin Kingsbury; Patrick (Katherine), Alan (Danielle) and Kathryn Sutter (Subeer); and Laura Juodvirsis as well as 4 great-grandchildren; Emmett, Wyatt, Lauren and Ian. Dear sister of Faye Sinclair and partner David Zimon of Ferndale. Dear sister-in-law of Irvin Sutter and Lorraine Casemore both of Wiarton and Bob Trelford of Southampton. Predeceased by parents Wally and Olive Sinclair, sister Barbara (Marty) Evans, brother Bill Sinclair (Olga) and brothers-in-law Guy Sutter & Morgan Sutter (Helen) and sisters-in-law Lorraine Sutter & Faith Trelford. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Carole grew up in Hepworth. In 1951 she married D.L. and they raised their family in their stone house on the Oliphant Road. She worked for many years as a RNA at Wiarton Hospital. She was a member of Frank Street Baptist Church and the Unity Rebekah Lodge. She moved with D.L. in 2004 to Kelso Villa and then Kelso Pines. Carole spent her life providing care to so many. Her family will forever remember those who provided such kindness and care to her. She will be remembered for her smile, kindness and devotion to others. She will always live in our hearts. Friends may call at the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME Hepworth Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service will be conducted from the Funeral Home Wednesday morning at 11:00 am. Interment, Balsam Grove Cemetery, Oliphant. Expressions of remembrance to the Frank Street Baptist Church, Wiarton or the Wiarton Hospital would be appreciated. Unity Rebekah Lodge No. 147 Wiarton will hold a Memorial Service at the funeral home Tuesday evening at 6:45pm.
