Obituary of Michael Lee Westley

Suddenly at the Fort Myers Gulf Coast Medical Centre in Florida Sunday morning February 19, 2012. Michael Westley of Southampton at the age of 69. Beloved husband and soul mate of Lynne Westley (nee Fromager). Loved father of Scott Westley (Kim) of Whitby, Janice Wright of Oshawa, Kathryn Bartole (Richard) of Cambridge and Chris Westley (Jennifer) of Kitchener. Lovingly remembered by his 7 grandchildren; Madison, Kristen and Sean Westley, Hayleigh and Kedron Wright, Ryan Bartole and Austin Westley. Dear brother of Claire Westley of St. Catharines, Karen Westley of Whitby, Elizabeth Taylor of Spruce Grove, Alberta and Mary Beningfield (Bill) of Quesnel, B.C. and his sister-in-law Helen Westley of Oshawa. Dear son-in-law of Phyllis Fromager of Sauble Beach. Dear brother-in-law of Ken Fromager (Lynn) of Miller Lake, Doug Fromager (Gloria) of Owen Sound and Paul Fromager (Helen) of Cobourg. Predeceased by his parents Wilfred and Isobel Westley, brother Paul, granddaughter Julie, brother-in-law Jack Osterveer and father-in-law Peter Fromager. Michael was an avid golfer, member of Saugeen Golf and Country Club and curler. He was an employee of General Motors for 43 years. Friends may call at the DOWNS & SON FUNERAL HOME Hepworth Thursday evening from 7 - 9 pm. Funeral service will be conducted from the funeral home Friday morning at 11:00 am with visitation one hour prior to service. Rev. Gerry Hofstetter officiating.
