Obituary of Murray Anderson

Peacefully with family by his side at the Mapleview Nursing Home in Owen Sound Tuesday afternoon April 10, 2012. Murray Anderson of Owen Sound in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Alma Anderson (nee Cunningham). Loved father of Elizabeth McConnell and her husband James of Jackson, Sue (Muma) Brown of Shallow Lake and James Anderson and his wife Joanne of R.R.#6, Owen Sound. Lovingly remembered by his 7 grandchildren; Lucas, Matthew, Cory, Jocelyn, Nicole, Melissa and Travis and one great-grandson Liam. Predeceased by his sister Betty Seabrook. Murray was an outstanding Dad and Papa. He was a long time employee with Kingsway Transport. Friends may call at the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME Hepworth Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service will be conducted from the Zion Amabel United Church, Sauble Beach Saturday morning at 11:00 am with Rev. Rosanne Judge officiating. Interment Zion Cemetery. Expressions of remembrance to the Alzheimer Society or the Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
