Obituary of Gordon Lawrence

Suddenly on his way home from vacationing in Florida at the Niagara Falls Memorial Hospital in New York USA Tuesday morning November 20, 2012. Gord Lawrence of R.R.#5 Owen Sound at the age of 66. Beloved husband of Darlene Lawrence (nee McKinnon). Loved father of Perry Lawrence and his wife Wendy and Kendra Vermilyea and her husband Sean all of Owen Sound. Lovingly remembered by his 5 grandchildren; Ashlee & Jordan Lawrence, Nickolas, Sydney & Logan Vermilyea. Dear brother of Bev Lawrence (Kathy) of Owen Sound, Ken Lawrence (Ann) of Tara, Sandra Doron (Gary) of Port Elgin and Judy Hilsden (Ron) of Owen Sound. Dear son-in-law of Verona McKinnon of Shallow Lake. Dear brother-in-law of Sharon Norton (Jim) of Shallow Lake, Brenda Nelthorpe (Colin) of Owen Sound, Donna Schryer of Kitchener, Wilma Miletic of Bolton, Colleen Burns (Jeff), Sheila Baker (Duane) all of Sauble Beach and Karen Hayward (Jim) of Shallow Lake. Predeceased by his parents George and Marjorie Lawrence, father-in-law Irvin McKinnon and brother-in-law Mike Miletic. Friends may call at the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME Hepworth Friday evening from 7 to 9 pm. A private family funeral service will be conducted from the Shallow Lake United Church Saturday morning at 10:30 am with Rev. Ed Laksmanis officiating.
