Obituary of Dennis Hewitson

Suddenly at R.R. #5, Owen Sound Thursday morning August 23, 2012. Dennis Hewitson of R.R.#5, Owen Sound in his 68th year. Beloved husband of Linda Hewitson (nee Hopper). Loved father of Robert and his wife Megan of Williamsford and Denise and her partner Donna of Holland Centre. Lovingly remembered by his granddaughter Abigail. Dear brother-in-law of Lenore Doll of Southampton, Shirley Eagles of Port Elgin and Carol Metzger and her husband Wayne of Red Deer, Alberta. Also survived by several nephews and nieces. Friends may call at the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME Hepworth Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be conducted from the Shallow Lake United Church Tuesday morning at 11:00 am with Rev. Ed Laksmanis officiating. Interment Hillcrest Cemetery, Tara. Burns Lodge 436 AF & AM will hold a Memorial Service at the Funeral Home Monday evening at 6:45 pm. Expressions of remembrance to the Tara Legion Branch #383 or the Bruce Peninsula Sportsmen's Association would be appreciated.
