Obituary of Richard Nielsen

Richard remained a proud Danish citizen to the end but enjoyed 57 years as a landed immigrant in Canada, living in Niagara-on-the Lake and then Toronto, retiring in Sauble Beach in 1988. He had his own business for many years doing custom cabinetry for interior design businesses in the Toronto area. His wife Ruth, daughter Lis Kronhurst (Leif), son Per and grandchildren Tina, Catherine, Christian, Joel and great grandchildren Sebastian, Emily, Marcus and Lucas will miss him immensely. Also lovingly remembered by his sisters-in-law Ardra Fradinger, her children Robert and Erica Kreimeyer (John) and Elna Pfeiffer (Jim). Cremation has taken place and his ashes will be placed at Sunset Mindepark, Crieff. A remembrance gathering will take place at our home 15 Genrob Place, Sauble Beach, February 1 and 2 between 2 and 5 pm.
