Kelly and Donelda were lovely generous people, when Kelly was torpedoed off Africa it was my grandfather that ordered the town of Luderitz to open and house survivors, Kelly was so great ful that in contacting my grandfather Philip j castle he learned that Gwendoline j Kent , his daughter was residing in Ottawa , he obtained our address and drove to Ottawa for a surprise visit at our door, we all got along so well that he offered his cedar cottage to us at Sauble beach for one week each year for about ten years, they were our best summer memories and we all loved Kelly and Donelda, we dined at Their bungalow in Owen sound and took drives to the Georgian bay and tobermorey , we still talk about Kelly and Don, they still mean something to us, they always will, Gwendoline is now 90 and we still fondly remember them , truly wonderful people .
