Obituary of John George Schmidt

Surrounded by family Monday evening March 7, 2016 at the Grey Bruce Health Services Wiarton. John Schmidt of Sauble Beach in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of the late Lois Schmidt (Feb. 21, 2016) for 49 years. Cherished father of Starr Snyder of Kitchener, Melody (pre 1964), Troy (pre1995) and Natasha Fassl and her husband David of Sauble Beach. Loved grandfather of Chad (Teresa), Brette, Shawn, Justin (Melissa), Erin (Trevor), Tyler and Wyatt and great grandfather of Payton, Carter, Trey, Charleah, Troy, Brette Jr. and Seth. Predeceased by parents Helen (nee Schade) and George Schmidt, great grandchildren Morgan and John and sister Barbara Krampien. The funeral service will be conducted from the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, Thursday at 1:00 p.m. with visitaion 1 hour prior to the service. Deacon Phil Dwyer officiating.
