Obituary of Elizabeth "Betty" Eleanor Ruth

Peacefully at home surrounded by her family early Sunday morning July 24, 2016. Betty Ruth (nee Kreutzwieser) of Hepworth in her 83rd year. Beloved wife and best friend of Edwin 'Ed' Ruth. Cherished mother of Allan and his wife Margie of Hepworth, Loretta Nuttall and her husband Tim of Shallow Lake and Jerry and his wife Lee-Anne of Hepworth. Loved grama of Genielle (Torey), Brian, Zach (Krista), Jed, Jered and Tavia and great grama of Emmalyne, Bentley and Emmett. Dear sister-in-law of June Kreutzweiser of Wiarton and Delores Kreutzweiser of Port Elgin. Remembered by her many brothers and sisters-in-law of the Ruth family. Predeceased by granddaughters Emma and Hayley, brothers Allan and Douglas and sister Helen Buckton and her husband Clarence 'Buck'. Friends may call at the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, Hepworth on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Order of the Eastern Star Georgian Chapter #186 will conduct a service at 6:45 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted from the Zion Amabel United Church, Sauble Beach on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. with Deacon Phil Dwyer officiating.
