Surrounded by his family at Grey Bruce Residential Hospice, Owen Sound Sunday morning August 14, 2016. Garnet King of Wiarton and formerly of Hepworth in his 70th year. Beloved husband of Grace (nee Burt). Cherished father of Laurie King and her fiance Ken Stott of Shallow Lake, Lonnie King and his girlfriend Sherry Millman of Owen Sound and Michael King and his partner Sarah McCorkindale of Owen Sound. Loved grandfather of Cody, Kyle, Cassidy, Dylan, Abbey, Brodey and Jess and great grandfather of Havannah, Brynlee and Kelton. Dear brother of Dave King, Dawn Gates and Marilyn Barnes. Forever remembered by the Burt family. Predeceased by brothers and sisters Jim, Sid, Jack, Al, Joe and Bob King, Birdie Morton and Joan Williams and Bob and Jack Cameron. Friends may call at the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, Hepworth on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. Interment Bayview Cemetery.
