Obituary of Kathleen Willa Smyth

Peacefully with family by her side at Summit Place Owen Sound late Monday afternoon September 5, 2016. Kathleen 'Kay' Smyth (nee Cooper) formerly of Lion's Head and Wiarton in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Charles Gordon 'Bud' Smyth (2010). Loved mother of Sherry Melrose of Kitchener, Sharon Barber and her husband Gerry of Wiarton, Danny Smyth and his partner Sylvie of Ottawa, Jackie Walpole and her husband Howard of Stratford, Robert Smyth and his wife Cali of Wiarton and Jean Grimsley of Owen Sound. Lovingly remembered by her 10 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Dear sister-in-law of Irene Smyth of Port Burwell. Missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by 7 sisters and son-in-law Jon Melrose. Friends may call at the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, Hepworth on Thursday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted from the funeral home Friday morning at 11:00 a.m. with Paula Classey officiating.
