Obituary of Winnifred "Winnie" Jessie Dunbar

Peacefully at home with family by her side Wednesday evening September 14, 2016. Winnie Dunbar (nee Boyd) of Hepworth and formerly of Hamilton in her 89th year. Beloved wife and best friend of the late William Ernest Dunbar. Loved mother of Nancy and her husband Norman Sogan of Hepworth, Cathy and the late Ken Ashbaugh of Tara, Carol and her husband Frank Ricciuto of Grimsby and Steven of Listowel. Lovingly remembered by 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Dear sister-in-law of Walter and Joy Dunbar of New York, niece of Phyllis Jones of Montreal and cousin of Roy Davis of Montreal. Friends may call at the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, Hepworth on Wednesday September 21, 2016 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted from the Trinity Anglican Church, Wiarton on Thursday morning at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Chad Honneyman officiating.
