Obituary of John "Jack" Ivan Moon

With family by his side at his residence Thursday morning November 3, 2016. Jack Moon of Owen Sound and formerly of Southampton in his 84th year. Beloved husband of Joan (nee Playford). Cherished father of Jerry of Iowa, Kathy and her husband David Schwab of Camrose, Alberta and Nancy Starcheski of Leduc, Alberta. Dear grandfather of Joshua (Destiny), Justin, Dylan, Jessica and Cameron and great grandfather of Raegan, Rheid and Clayton. Missed by sister Lois Bell and her husband Danard of Chesley. Dear brother-in-law of Jan Moon, Jack and Diane Playford, Shirley Wilson, Bob Falconer and Norm Walter. Missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother Donald and sister Marion McLaughlan, sisters-in-law Ruth Falconer and Marg Walter and brother-in-law Bill Wilson. The funeral service will be conducted from the Zion Amabel United Church on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. John Smith officiating. Visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Interment Zion Cemetery.
