Obituary of Ruth Ann Nickason

Peacefully with family by her side at Grey Bruce Health Services, Southampton early Tuesday morning October 31, 2017.  Ruth Nickason (nee McLelland) of Allenford in her 88th year.  Beloved wife of the late Wm. Neil Nickason (2000).  Cherished mother of Pat Robinson and her husband Murray, Ron and his wife Pam, Brenda Evans and her husband Richard and Ryan and his wife Carol, all of Allenford, Kathy McDougald and her husband Gary of Tara and Raymond and his wife Judy and Robert and his wife Nicole, both of Allenford.  Dear mother-in-law of Ray MacDonald and his wife Darlene of Tara, Leslie Anderson of Allenford and Ted Sobczak of Cambridge.  Lovingly remembered by her 40 grandchildren and 41 great grandchildren.  Dear sister of Jean MacDonald of Owen Sound. Predeceased by daughters Joan MacDonald (2004) and Annette Anderson-Sobczak (2012), brother Keith McLelland and his wife Eleanor, brothers-in-law Earl MacDonald and George Waller and sister-in-law Eleanor Hauser.  Friends may call at the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, Hepworth on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.  Private family interment at Hillcrest Cemetery, Tara.  A service to celebrate Ruth's life will be held at the Sauble Christian Fellowship Church, Sauble Beach on November 25th at 11:00 a.m. Expressions of remembrance to Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation, Southampton would be appreciated.  Messages of condolence may be sent to the family through www.downsandsonfuneralhome.com
