Obituary of Frederick Burton Heathers

HEATHERS, Frederick Burton peacefully with family by his side at Chapman House on Saturday July 28, 2018.  Fred Heathers of Georgian Bluffs in his 86th year.  Cherished father of Garry and his wife Bev, Pat and his wife Rose, Brad and his wife Kris, Marty and his wife Brenda, Greg and his wife Terri-Lynn and Kevin and his wife Sarah, all of Georgian Bluffs.  Remembered by their mother Joyce.  Loved grandfather of Alissa (Ted), Stacy (Andrew), Lukas, Brooke (Kody), Mat (Tanya), Dustin, Crystal (Samir), Landon, Cody, Brennan and Ashtyn and great grandfather of 9.  Dear twin brother of Doug and his wife Shirley of Shallow Lake, Linda McGregor of Wiarton and Wilma Heathers of Kitchener.  Missed by many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by his parents Hilda (Barfoot) and Mark Heathers, brother Lloyd, sister Leone Mole, brothers-in-law Evan Mole and Ken McGregor and grandsons Patrick and Christopher.  Family and friends are invited to share memories and stories at the Hepworth-Shallow Lake Royal Canadian Legion on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.  Interment Oxenden Cemetery.  Arrangements entrusted to the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, Hepworth.  Expressions of remembrance to Chapman House would be appreciated.  Messages of condolence may be sent to the family through www.downsandsonfuneralhome.com
