Obituary of Murray Magnus Michael Schnurr

At Lee Manor in Owen Sound Saturday evening December 20th, 2008. Murray Schnurr of R.R.#1, Shallow Lake in his 73rd year. Beloved husband of the former Linda (MacDonald) Cochrane. Dear step-father of Scott Cochrane of Owen Sound and Mark Cochrane of Park Head. Lovingly remembered by his two grandsons, Drake and Jordan Cochrane. Dear brother of Morris and his wife Mary and Mervyn and his wife Edna all of Shallow Lake, Marion Walker of Hepworth, Marcel and his wife Muriel of Park Head and Marilyn and her husband Bev Saunders of Hamilton. Brother-in-law of Don MacDonald of Toronto, Bonnie and her husband Brian Emberton of Hamilton, Kathy and her husband Dave Locking and Bill MacDonald all of Owen Sound. Lovingly remembered by several nephews and nieces. Predeceased by five sisters; Marie Jones, Mildred Schnurr, Margaret Morneau, Martina Jones and Marcella Connor. Friends may call at the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME Hepworth Tuesday from 2 to 4 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated from St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, Wiarton Wednesday morning at 11:00 am. Spring interment St. Mary's Cemetery, Hepworth. Memorial contributions to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated as your expression of sympathy.
