Obituary of Georgina Muriel Shipley

SHIPLEY, Georgina Murial peacefully at Chapman House Residential Hospice, Owen Sound Tuesday, February 18, 2020.  Georgina Shipley (nee Day) of Shallow Lake in her 92nd year.  Loving wife of the late Beverley Shipley.  Loving mother of Kathleen Cooke of Beamsville and David of Shallow Lake.  Lovingly remembered by her four grandchildren Brian (Christine) Cooke of Beamsville, Brendan (Kelsey) Cooke of British Columbia, Sarah (George) Miller of Calgary and Jeff (Jessie) Shipley of Owen Sound and great grandmother of Paityn and Autumn Cooke of Beamsville.  The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Georgina's physician Dr. Diodati as well as Dr. Barfoot, the staff and volunteers at Chapman House for their amazing care and compassion.  Friends may call at the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, Hepworth on Friday February 21st from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.  The funeral service will be conducted from the funeral home on Saturday at 11:00 a.m.  Spring interment Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
