Obituary of Peter Weatherhead

WEATHERHEAD, Peter peacefully at Maple View Long Term Care Residence Wednesday, May 6, 2020.  Peter Weatherhead of Owen Sound and formerly of Wiarton in his 85th year.  Beloved husband of the late Kay Weatherhead (nee Breadner).  Cherished father of Carol and her husband Roy Shouldice of Owen Sound, Linda Weatherhead of Cambridge and Steven and his wife Janet of Wiarton.  Loving grandfather of Pam (Mark), Nicole (Ian), Natasha (Greg), Kaitlynn (Jesse), Justin (Jessica) and Sarah and great grandfather of Madelyn, Riley, Aiden, Callum and Owen.  Dear brother-in-law of Lucy Weatherhead.  Predeceased by parents Margaret (nee West) and Peter Weatherhead, brothers Lloyd (Betty), Norman (Dorothy), John (Marion), William (Betty) and Roy and sisters Eva Wilkinson (Morris), Mae Worsley (Harold) and Thelma Sharples.  The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff at Maple View Long Term Care for all the excellent care Peter received while he was a resident there.  Arrangements entrusted to the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, Hepworth . Interment service at Bayview Cemetery, Wiarton at a later date.
