I was saddened when I heard of the passing of the gentleman, Wilmer, who I've known for a number of years. I have met the whole Casemore family and was married to the daughter of his brother, Gordon. To Robert and Sheldon and the greater Casemore family. My sincere condolences to all of you. Wilmer was a good friend and I have always enjoyed listening to his stories from years ago at coffee time after church at Shallow Lake United Church. And even in the following years when I would visit him and Millie. And more recently visiting him by phone, his stories and memories of his family and Shallow Lake were sincere and good to listen to. Hi Sheldon, Bob, Milt and Ray.
I want to let you know that Wilmer was a VIP in our lives. Best friend to my dad. Great help to my mom and us after his death. He and Millie were always a must visit for us when we would be back home. My memory is filled with wonderful times with your family. Unfortunately, with the restrictions for Covid, we won't get to the funeral. We would love to see you again sometime. Hopefully that opportunity will come again and in more pleasant circumstances.
