Obituary of John McCurdy

McCURDY, John Douglas peacefully at Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound on Wednesday, May 18, 2022. John McCurdy of Owen Sound in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of the late Jessie McCurdy (nee Brown). Cherished father of John and his wife Holly of New Hamburg and Richard and his wife Janet of Guelph. Much loved grandfather of Griffin, Laura (Nick), Sean (Ascacia) and Ian and great grandfather of Michael, Evelyn and Ethan. Dear brother-in-law of Alice McCurdy of Owen Sound and Shirley McCurdy of Hamilton. Predeceased by parents Helen (nee Miller) and Garfield McCurdy, his brothers Harold, Laurie and Bill and his sister Jean Newell.

Family and friends are invited to the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, Hepworth on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. A graveside service will be conducted at Zion Cemetery, Hepworth on Friday, May 27 at 2:00 p.m.
