I didn't know Verna for very long, just a few years. But I can say she was truly the most caring, thoughtful woman I think I'd ever met. I enjoyed every time I had the opportunity to do her hair. She will be very missed I'm sure. RIP Verna..my deepest sympathies to Verna's family and friends. Sincerely Anne Dekkers

My condolences to Jerry & Vernas family! Ive known Verna for many years and would hear from Verna about once a month or so to catch up on what was going on in her life. She had reached out to me when she learned of her brother Dons passing in July and we chatted for quite awhile, I spoke to her as well on her birthday and she had asked me to come in this fall for a tea and to see her new place..She always was very kind to me and loved to chat about all our mutual acquaintances and the fact we were both from the same area(Tara)... I hope Verna is at peace and that she has found her beloved kitty who had passed before her!
