Obituary of Harry Hilliard

HILLIARD, Harry Clarence peacefully at Elgin Abbey Nursing Home, Chesley Friday evening January 20, 2023. Harry Hilliard of Chesley formerly of Sauble Beach and Kitchener in his 96th year. Beloved husband of Alice Hilliard (nee Burton). Cherished father of Kaye Wilkins (Ted) of Bolton, Connie Martin of Hamilton and Ruth Grant (Mike) of Scarborough.  Much loved grandfather of Kirk Millner (Christina) of Hamilton, Shay Smeets of Innisfil, Kareen Wilkins of Bolton and Tasia Krystle Swaluk of Toronto. Special great grandfather of Phoenix Thomas of Bolton and Clara Smeets of Innisfil.  Missed by many nieces and nephews from Kitchener Waterloo.   Predeceased by grandson Richard Wilkins, granddaughter Kayleen Wilkins, parents Florence (nee Thayer) and Harry Hilliard Sr., and siblings Catherine, Tom and Marjory. 

Harry was a proud veteran of World War II, a member of the Shallow Lake United Church and a lifetime member of the New Dominion Lodge.
