Obituary of William Duncan Robertson

ROBERTSON, William Duncan peacefully at the Parkwood Veterans Hospital, London on Wednesday, July 26, 2023. Bill Robertson of London and formerly of Wiarton in his 97th year. Beloved husband of the late Carole Robertson-Wheeler (nee Evans) (2017). Cherished father of Duncan of Prescott and David (Jenya) of Germany and step-father of Cathy Wheeler of Woodstock, David Wheeler (Sandra) of Cambridge, Bill Wheeler of Thunder Bay and James Wheeler of Ayr. Loving grandfather of many. Dear brother of Lee of Montreal, Harvey of Thornbury, Martha Turner of Brantford, Mabel Robertson-Flaherty (Joe) of Paris and Alice Chisholm of Brantford. Predeceased by parents Jessie 'Dickie' (nee Delaney) and Duncan Robertson, brothers Howard and Murray, step-son Bob Wheeler and step-daughter Susan Thompson.

Arrangements entrusted to the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, Hepworth.  The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 586 will conduct a Legion Service on Friday, August 4, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Immediately following the Legion service, the funeral service will be conducted by Rev. Gerry Hofstetter.  Interment Zion Cemetery, Hepworth. Expressions of remembrance to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 586 would be appreciated.
