Obituary of Jim Litwiller

LITWILLER, James Floyd peacefully at Summit Place Nursing Home, Owen Sound on Wednesday, October 18, 2023.  Jim Litwiller of Owen Sound and formerly of Sauble Beach in his 98th year.  Beloved husband of the late Doris Litwiller (2015).  Cherished father of Judith Walker and her husband Peter of Cambridge, Thomas and his wife Joanne of Guelph, Donna Buchanan and her partner Henry Streun of Owen Sound, Nancy Litwiller of Fergus and Andrew and his wife Paula of London.  Much loved grandfather of Jennifer, Jarrett, Kelsey (Troy), Cybil, Audrey (Andrew), Gillian (James), Kyle, Everett, Avery (Ashley), Joel, Cody and Montana and great grandfather of Sophie, Olivia, Maddox, Austin, Wesley, Walker, Quinn and Olivia.  Dear brother of Ken Litwiller (Barbara) of Kitchener and brother-in-law of Norma Litwiller of Oshawa.  Predeceased by parents Laura (nee Kipfer) and Edward Litwiller, brother Lorne (Adeline), Harry (Grace),  Walter (Winifred) and Gordon, sisters Dorothy Kinsela and Violet Reuter (Ken) and grandson Shawn.

The funeral service will be conducted from the Sauble Beach United Church on Sunday, October 22nd at 3:00 p.m. with visitation 1 hour prior to the service.  Interment Zion Cemetery.  Arrangements entrusted to the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, Hepworth.  Expressions of remembrance to the Alzheimer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.  Messages of condolence may be sent to the family through www.downsandsonfuneralhome.com
