Obituary of Ricki Alexander McElheran

Ricki passed away peacefully in the company of loved ones at Chapman House Hospice, Owen Sound on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at the age of 66 years.  He will be dearly missed by his spouse, the love of his life Donna Swift, who he joyfully shared his last 2 decades, as well as his step daughter Alannah Arabski.  His memory lives on in his daughters he devoted his life to:  Billi McElheran (Chris Fleck), Jesse McElheran (Gordon King), Keely McElheran (Philip Petracca) and Sydney McElheran (Jess Kaufman) who he raised with his first wife, Carol-Lynn McElheran.  Proud grandfather to Finley McElheran, Aisling McElheran and Alexander King.  A loving son to his parents Donelda and Ford McElheran (both deceased) and incredible brother and uncle to his sisters and their families:  Wendy Dechaine (Gilbert), Laurie Fornwald (Dennis) and Shelley Fornwald (Todd).  He was a friend to all, the life of the party and the first one on the dance floor.  Known for making you laugh or lending a hand; once you became his friend, you were his friend for life.

Family and friends are invited to a time of fellowship at the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, Hepworth on Thursday, February 8, 2024 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. with memories shared at 3:00 p.m.  Family and friends are welcome for fellowship and refreshments at Ricki and Donna's residence following the funeral home.
