Obituary of Neil Henderson

HENDERSON, Neil peacefully with family by his side at Chapman House Grey Bruce Hospice Owen Sound on Saturday, February 17, 2024.  Neil Henderson of Owen Sound in his 77th year.  Beloved husband of Ilona (nee Grafe) for 51 years.  Cherished father of Michael and his wife Tanya of Woodville and Monika and her husband Greg McLellan of Niagara Falls.  Much loved grandfather of Josh, Alex and Evan. Missed by his mother-in-law Irene Grafe of Mount Forest, brothers Alan of Allenford and Bill of Cambridge, sisters  and brothers-in-law Marion Kukasch (Ed) of Alberta, Ria Grummett of Shallow Lake, Bernhard Grafe (Wendy) of Sunderland, Reinhard Grafe (Yvonne) of Oshawa, Norma Grafe of Owen Sound, Eva Boelke (Harold) of Harriston and Helmut Berchtold of Germany as well as many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by parents Jean (nee Masterson) and Hugh Henderson and sisters-in-law Jean Henderson, Ruth Henderson and Gisela Berchtold.

In accordance with Neil's wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.  Arrangements entrusted to the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, Hepworth.  Expressions of remembrance to the Shallow Lake United Church or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.  Messages of condolence may be sent to the family through www.downsandsonfuneralhome.com
