Obituary of Eleanor Fletcher

FLETCHER, Eleanor, in her 93rd year, peacefully with family by her side at Southbridge Nursing Home, Owen Sound on Tuesday, June 11, 2024.  Eleanor Fletcher (nee Edwards), a woman of substance, who unwittingly charmed everyone she met, formerly of Sauble Beach, Ontario, Nashville, Tennessee, London and Glencoe, Ontario.  Beloved wife of the late Gordon Fletcher.  Much loved and respected mother of Brian and Mary of Barrie, Brenda of Kemble and Brad and Maureen of Vancouver Island; forever remembered and missed by Bob Balatka.  Proud grandma of Nathan (Ashley) and Courtney (Jay) and great grandmother of Violet and Olivia.  Dear sister of Calvin Edwards (Roxy pre) and Bruce Edwards (Etta), nephew Mark and nieces Jodi and Janice.  Predeceased by an infant daughter and parents Margaret (nee Whitfield) and George Edwards.

The family would like to thank Charity Jackson and her caring and supportive team at Southbridge, Owen Sound and Dr. Naudie and his trusted staff at University Hospital, London.
