Obituary of Rev. Kenneth Welch

WELCH, Rev. Kenneth James peacefully at Gateway Haven, Wiarton on Sunday, March 26th, 2023. Rev. Ken Welch of Wiarton and formerly of Tobermory in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of the late Helen Welch (nee McLeod) (2005). Dear father of  David (Diane) of Hanover and Jon (Sandra) of Guelph. Cherished grandfather of Nathan (Laura), Daniel, Sarah, Leigh-Anne (Prakash) and Tanya (Jody) and ten great grandchildren. Survived by four nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Margaret (nee Campbell) and Norman Welch and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bruce and Bette McLeod.

Family and friends are invited to share memories at the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, Hepworth on Friday, March 31st, 2023 from 6:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m.

Cedar Lodge #396 Wiarton AF and AM will hold a memorial service at 7:45 p.m.

The funeral service will be conducted at the Sauble Beach United Church on Saturday, April 1st, 2023 at 2:00 p.m with visitation 1 hour prior.

Spring interment of cremated remains in Tyrconnell Cemetery, Wallacetown. In lieu of flowers, expressions of remembrance to the Sauble Beach United Church, the Canadian Bible Society or Silver Lake United Church Camp would be appreciated.
