Obituary of Reginald Dirstein

DIRSTEIN, Reginald Josiah at Southbridge Long Term Care Home, Owen Sound Wednesday November 29, 2023. Reg Dirstein of Sauble Beach in his 89th year. Beloved husband of Ellen (nee Ceasar) for 62 years. Cherished father of David Dirstein (Jackie) of Kitchener, and Nancy Beaumont of Vernon, BC. Much loved grandfather of Taylor, Mackenzie, Jacqueline, and Madeline. Dear brother of Donald Dirstein (Janet) of Ajax, Shirley Schwartz (Jim) of Grand Ledge, MI, and Jackie Penfold (Allan) of Hanover. Missed by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Florence (nee Bluhm) and John Dirstein and sister Marie Beckberger (Dennis).

The funeral service will be conducted at the Sauble Beach United Church on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation 1 hour prior to the service.  Arrangements entrusted to the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, Hepworth.  Expressions of remembrance to Sauble Beach United Church would be appreciated.
